The German group is a friendly, sociable set of people, attendance varies between  6 and 10. Each session is £2 and includes coffee and biscuits. The level of experience of German is very varied, some people have previous knowledge from school studies and some have learned German at night school or only in this group from its onset 3 years ago. This range of knowledge enables us to help each other. We only meet twice a month and usually optional homework is given but not often done! As a basis for study we are currently using a book of pre intermediate German stories. We aim to include everyone as we complete various activities around the stories, which may include reading writing and speaking and listening and we even touch on grammar.

Please note that in December the group will meet only on the 2nd Tuesday (10th Dec) 1.00 -3.00 pm in the downstairs room at Burnley Library.
