Contact This Group

The group was formed in February 2018. Our members range from those who had no previous knowledge of Italian to some with a basic understanding, either having participated in classes elsewhere or being self-taught. We are a friendly group and in keeping with the U3A motto of “Learn, Laugh, Live” we take our learning at a comfortable pace with plenty of laughs along the way.

If you fancy learning Italian, either because you enjoy languages, want to improve your ability to communicate on holiday or simply want a challenge to keep your brain active, come along and join our group. We have a relaxed approach, don’t employ formal teaching and welcome all abilities. Whether new to the language or an “old hand” come along and see what we have to offer.

We meet twice per month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 2:00pm at Padiham Road Methodist Church.

NEXT MEETINGS: Wednesdays 26th February and Wednesday 11th March at Padiham Methodist Church on Padiham Road at 2 pm.  On 25th March meet at Aldo’ s on Bank Parade Burnley near the Post Office sorting depot.
